Appreciating nature is something we do just about every day in The Palm Beaches. But throughout the year, outdoor festivals inspire locals and visitors alike to formally celebrate our great outdoors. From conservation of our fragile ecosystems to good old-fashioned fun in the sun, get a closer look at our amazing landscapes at these awesome outdoor events.

More animal encounters await at TurtleFest, a celebration of our beloved native sea turtles. Held at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach each March, TurtleFest lets visitors get up close and personal with these endangered reptiles. There are also children’s activities, a fine art market, educational presentations and live music by conservation-minded local performers.

Kick things up a notch at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, one of the top five boating events in the country. Feast your eyes and ears on all things nautical—from mega-yachts and racing boats to sailing apparel, boat accessories and gifts for fellow seafarers. If you’re visiting during the holidays, be sure to attend one of our holiday boat parades, held in cities like Palm Beach, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. During these festive events, local boat owners compete for cash prizes by setting their vessels aglow in red, green and every color of the rainbow.
